Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and onion in a skillet and drain off the fat.
  2. Put in a large sauce pan and add the tomatoes, water, beef bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, bay leaves, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables, egg noodles, and thyme. Bring to a boil again and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a little more water if needed.
